How many transfer credits can I bring to Mercy College?

I'm looking into transferring to Mercy College and need to know about their policy on transfer credits. What's the maximum number of credits they'll accept? My current college is BCC, so any insights would be helpful.

Mercy College has a fairly generous policy when it comes to accepting transfer credits. The maximum number of credits they accept is up to 75 credits from a two-year institution like BCC, and up to 90 credits from a four-year institution. The transferable credits need to be in courses in which students got a grade of C or higher, and they must be from an institution that is regionally accredited.

However, not all credits may apply to the specific program you're choosing at Mercy College. The applicability of your credits will depend on your intended major and the coursework you've completed thus far. You would need to meet with an academic advisor to discuss this in greater detail and to get an accurate assessment of how many of your credits would transfer into your intended program of study at Mercy College. And just as a heads-up, Mercy College does stipulate that at least 30 credits must be completed at Mercy to earn a bachelor's degree from the institution, with the final 15 credits earned consecutively at Mercy. The residency requirement for an associate degree is 30 credits, with the final 15 earned consecutively at Mercy as well.
