What GPA is needed to transfer to OSU Fisher College?

I'm looking into transferring to the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University. Does anyone know the GPA requirement for transferring, and are there any particular courses I should focus on beforehand to boost my chances?

As a transfer applicant to Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business, there isn't a set GPA requirement per se. However, OSU states on their site that most successful applicants have at least a 3.0 GPA, and for more competitive programs like the Fisher College of Business, a GPA of 3.5 or above would be highly advantageous.

The coursework you've completed thus far will play an important role in the admission decision. Admission to Fisher not only depends on your overall GPA, but also on how well you've performed in courses relevant to your intended business major. Typically, having some accounting, marketing, finance, or other related business courses with solid performance can make your application stronger.

Moreover, keep in mind that you will also need to fulfill Ohio State’s general education requirements either before or after you transfer. This includes courses in English composition, mathematical and quantitative reasoning, and sciences, among others.

Remember that admissions look at the whole picture: your GPA, the courses you've taken, your essay, and your extracurriculars. Be sure to put effort into all aspects of your application. Good luck with your transfer process!
