What are the transfer requirements for Rollins College?

I'm considering transferring to Rollins College and wondered what their transfer requirements are. Does anyone know if they have specific GPA requirements or if they need recommendation letters from previous professors? Any insights would be appreciated!

Rollins College's transfer application process is somewhat personalized. Generally speaking, their transfer candidates need to have at a minimum:

- A high school diploma (or its equivalent)

- Completed at least one full year of college/university work at an accredited institution after high school graduation.

For GPA requirements, Rollins doesn't specify a minimum GPA for transfer students, but the admissions office looks for evidence of academic potential to succeed at the college. As such, demonstrating a strong track record of academic performance at your current institution can be beneficial.

As for recommendations, Rollins does ask for one letter of recommendation. This can be from a professor, advisor, or employer who can speak to your ability to succeed in a rigorous academic environment.

Additionally, you'll need to submit your official college and high school transcripts. An official final high school transcript isn't required if you have earned an associate degree or have completed more than 60 college credits.

Last but not least, a personal statement is required to get a sense of who you are beyond your academic record. This is your opportunity to convey your goals, motivations for transferring, and how you see Rollins fitting into those aspirations.

Remember to check with the Rollins College Admissions website for the most current and detailed information. Note that requirements can vary by school or program, so it's always a good idea to connect with the admissions office for any additional or specific program requirements. Good luck with your transfer journey!
