Transfer Application Deadline for Sarah Lawrence College

I'm considering transferring to Sarah Lawrence College and want to make sure I don't miss any important dates. Does anyone know when the transfer application deadline is, and what materials I should have prepared by then?

Sarah Lawrence College has a rolling admissions policy for transfer students, which means applications are reviewed on a continuous basis until the transfer class is full. Even so, it's highly recommended to submit your application as early as possible to maximize your chances. While there isn't a fixed deadline, most transfer students apply by the middle of the spring semester for the fall semester or by the middle of the fall semester for the spring semester.

As for the application materials, you'll need:

1. A completed Common Application or Coalition Application, including specific Sarah Lawrence College supplemental questions.

2. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended, as well as your high school transcript.

3. Two academic letters of recommendation. Sarah Lawrence recommends that at least one be from a professor you've had in a recent course.

4. A College Report filled out by an administrator at your current (or most recent) college or university, which provides information about your academic and disciplinary standing.

5. A mid-term report if you are applying in the middle of an academic term.

6. An interview with an admissions counselor, while not required, is highly encouraged.

While not required, standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) may be submitted if you feel they'll strengthen your application.

All official academic documents must be sent directly from the respective institutions to Sarah Lawrence College.
