Transferring from Santa Monica College to UCLA: Advice Needed

I'm currently studying at Santa Monica College and aiming to transfer to UCLA. Has anyone been through this process and can share insights on what helped their application stand out? I'd appreciate any tips on GPA, extracurriculars, or anything else.
