No test scores to report on Common App

Hey folks! I wasn't able to take the SATs or ACTs, so I don't have any test scores to report on my Common App. Do I still need to fill out the Testing section, or can I just skip that part entirely?

Hey there! Given that many colleges have adopted a test-optional policy in recent years, it's not uncommon for applicants to not have SAT or ACT scores to submit. In your case, you can simply leave the Testing section blank on the Common App. However, before doing so, double-check each college on your list to see if they require test scores, especially if they're not test-optional. If they do require test scores, you may want to see if they accept alternative tests or reach out to their admissions office to discuss your situation.

Additionally, without test scores, other parts of your application, such as your GPA, extracurricular activities, and essays, will take on a more significant role. Make sure to put extra effort into these sections, as they will help the admissions committees better understand your academic and personal potential. Best of luck with your applications!
