Counselor Ed Agreement Not Started?

Hey everyone, I'm a bit worried since my counselor hasn't started their ed agreement yet. Is this normal? Should I remind them to complete it, or should I give them more time? I don't want this to affect my applications.

It's understandable that you're concerned about your counselor not yet starting their ED agreement. You certainly want everything to be in order for your application. Here's what you can do:

1. Give them a gentle reminder: It's possible that they have a lot on their plate or they might have missed it unintentionally. Sending a polite email or having a brief in-person conversation can serve as a helpful nudge for them to complete the agreement.

2. Provide a deadline: You can clearly mention the deadline for the ED application in your reminder, highlighting its importance and the need for timely completion.

3. Offer assistance: In case your counselor needs any help with the details or any specific information related to the agreement, let them know that you're available to support them and provide whatever assistance they need.

4. Keep a follow-up plan: If, after a few days, your counselor still hasn't started the agreement, it's okay to follow up with them to reiterate the significance of the task for your application. At the same time, express your gratitude for their help and attention in this matter.

Remember, counselors are typically managing multiple students' applications, so it's important to be patient and understanding. However, advocating for yourself and making sure everything is completed accurately and on time is also important for the success of your application. Good luck!
