Common App and Naviance - How to link them?

Yo! Does anyone know how to link my Common App to my Naviance account? I've been trying to figure it out, but with no success so far. Any tips would be appreciated!

Hey there! Linking your Common App and Naviance accounts is essential for a smoother application process, especially when it comes to your counselor and teacher recommendations. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to link the two platforms:

1. Log in to your Common App account and go to the "Profile" section.

2. Scroll down to the "Education" subsection and make sure your high school information is accurate. This is important, as Naviance will use it to match your accounts.

3. Under the "Recommenders and FERPA" section, you'll need to sign the FERPA waiver. To do this, click on "Complete" under "FERPA Release Authorization".

4. Read the information and make your choice about waiving or not waiving your rights. After that, e-sign and save your changes.

5. Next, log in to your Naviance account.

6. Click on the "Colleges" tab at the top of the page and then select "Colleges I'm Applying To" from the dropdown menu.

7. In this section, click on "Match Accounts" or "Common App Account Matching" based on what your school uses.

8. Fill in the required information, which typically includes your email and date of birth. This should be the same email and date of birth used in your Common App account.

9. Click "Match" or "Submit" to finalize the linking process.

If you have any issues or questions during the process, your school's college or guidance counselor should be able to provide assistance. Good luck with your applications!
