Questbridge Scholarship Acceptance Rate

Hello! I've been doing some research on Questbridge, and it seems like a fantastic opportunity for low-income students like me. Does anyone know the acceptance rate for the Questbridge Scholarship? I want to know how competitive it is before deciding to apply. Thanks in advance!

Hello! Questbridge is indeed a fantastic opportunity for high-achieving, low-income students. The Questbridge National College Match program is highly competitive due to the significant benefits it offers, such as full scholarships to top colleges.

While the acceptance rate for the Questbridge Scholarship varies from year to year, it is generally low; around 1,000 to 2,000 students are selected as finalists out of over 18,000 to 20,000 applicants. This translates to an acceptance rate of approximately 5-8%. However, don't be discouraged by this low acceptance rate, as Questbridge looks at each applicant holistically, taking into account several factors, including academic achievements, financial need, and personal circumstances.

Remember that being selected as a Questbridge finalist is not the same as winning a full-ride scholarship - as a finalist, you'll be considered for admission by partner colleges individually. However, being a finalist increases your chances of admission and makes the schools aware of your financial need, so it's still an advantage even if not matched.

I encourage you to give it a shot if you consider your academic profile to be strong and have a demonstrated financial need. Applying to Questbridge is a unique opportunity, and you never know what the outcome may be. Good luck!
