Toughest field of study?

I've been thinking a lot about college majors and fields of study lately, and I wanted to know: what is generally considered the hardest field of study? Is there a consensus on this or is it subjective?

There isn't a single universally agreed-upon "hardest" field of study, as the difficulty of a major depends on a variety of factors, including a person's individual strengths and interests. However, some majors are often considered more challenging than others due to the amount of work required, the complexity of the subject matter, and the rigorousness of the coursework.

For example, majors in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields are often considered to be difficult. Engineering disciplines such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering often require a strong foundation in math and physics along with a solid understanding of complex concepts and problem-solving skills. Likewise, majors in the natural sciences such as physics, chemistry, and biology can be demanding, requiring intensive lab work, abstract thinking, and a deep understanding of scientific theories.

However, it's important to note that what might be difficult for one person could be more manageable for another, depending on their interests, aptitudes, and background. What truly matters is the passion and dedication you bring to your chosen field of study. Regardless of the major you choose, you will likely encounter challenges along the way. By developing strong study habits and seeking out resources and support, you can overcome these challenges and find success in your chosen field.
