Hey there! It's fantastic that you're looking to showcase your artistic talent and boost your college applications. Here are a few student art competitions you might consider participating in:

1. Scholastic Art & Writing Awards: This prestigious competition is open to students in grades 7–12, and categories include art forms like drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture. Deadlines and submission details vary by region, so make sure to check their website for information specific to your area.

2. Congressional Art Competition: This annual competition is open to high school students, and each participant submits artwork to their congressional district’s competition. Winning entries are displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year. Pay attention to your district's submission deadlines and guidelines.

3. YoungArts Competition: Open to 15- to 18-year-old students, this competition has a wide range of categories including visual arts, design, photography, and more. Apart from receiving recognition, finalists have the opportunity to attend YoungArts Week, where they can participate in workshops and masterclasses.

4. Doodle 4 Google: This competition asks K–12 students to create a Google Doodle based on a specific theme. Winning entries can earn scholarship money, and the winning doodle is showcased on Google's homepage.

5. The Rookies: This is an international competition for young creatives in film, animation, games, virtual reality, motion graphics, and 3D visualization. You can submit your work for various categories, including concept art, illustration, and visual effects.

Make sure to double-check deadlines and submission guidelines for each competition, as they may change from year to year. Good luck, and I hope you find success in these competitions!
