Rutgers summer programs for high schoolers?

I'm a junior interested in attending a summer program at Rutgers to explore different fields. Does anyone know of any cool summer programs for high school students at Rutgers? Preferably something science-related, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

Hello! Rutgers University offers various summer programs for high school students, and I'm glad to see you're interested in exploring different fields. Here are a few science-related programs you might want to consider:

1. Rutgers Summer Scholars Program: This program allows high school students to enroll in one or two college-level courses at Rutgers. With many science courses, including biology, chemistry, and physics, you can delve into subjects that interest you and experience college life at the same time.

2. Pre-Engineering Summer Academy: Focused on engineering and applied sciences, this one-week program introduces students to various engineering disciplines like civil, mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering through hands-on projects.

3. Research Intensive Summer Experience (RISE) at Rutgers: This program is designed for high school students interested in research. Participants work one-on-one with faculty mentors on research projects in various STEM fields, attend seminars on scientific topics, and present their research at the end of the program.

4. Rutgers 4-H Summer Science Program: If you're interested in STEM fields and want to engage with other high school students, this one-week program pairs you with research teams participating in hands-on activities and exploring various scientific topics.

These programs provide excellent opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in science-related fields while meeting like-minded peers. Remember to check their websites for application requirements and deadlines, as well as whether any adjustments have been made due to the current circumstances. Good luck, and I hope you find a program that suits your interests!
