DePaul vs Northwestern: which one has more opportunities?

Hi, everyone! I need some help comparing DePaul and Northwestern. I want to know which university has more internship and job opportunities, especially in the business field. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Hey there! Both DePaul and Northwestern are excellent schools, but they tend to offer different types of opportunities due to their locations and focus.

Northwestern is known for its prestigious overall reputation and strong connections to top-tier businesses. Particularly in the fields of finance or consulting, attending Northwestern could give you better access to internships and job opportunities with globally recognized firms. The Kellogg School of Management also has a prominent undergraduate program, and provides access to vast resources, as well as superb networking and mentorship opportunities.

On the other hand, DePaul is located in the heart of Chicago (as opposed to in the smaller, albeit nearby, town of Evanston, where Northwestern is), a city bustling with opportunities for internships and jobs. With its urban setting, DePaul has strong ties to local businesses and companies in the market. DePaul's Driehaus College of Business is tailored to help you build connections with local employers and secure internships throughout your college experience. While it might not have the same global notoriety as Northwestern, DePaul is well-respected among businesses in the Chicago area.

In summary, if you're looking for top-tier business opportunities with more of a global focus, Northwestern might be the better choice. But if you're interested in building a network within the Chicago area and being more immersed in the urban setting, DePaul could be the right fit for you.

Good luck with your decision!
