SAT June score release tips?

I'm patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for my June SAT scores. What should I do while I wait? Any tips on dealing with the anxiety? A little bit stressed here...

I can understand the anxiety that comes with waiting for SAT scores, but there are a few ways to ease that stress! Here's what you can do while you wait:

1. Keep yourself occupied: Engage in activities that you enjoy or find relaxing, like reading a book, watching a movie, going for a bike ride or a run, or spending time with friends.

2. Start a healthy coping strategy: Practice deep breathing, meditation, or progressive muscle relaxation to stay calm. These techniques can not only help you cope with stress from waiting for your SAT scores, but also be useful throughout the entire college application process.

3. Prepare for the next steps: Regardless of your score, you'll still need to move forward with your college application process. Research schools you're interested in, start working on your essays, gather your recommendations, and familiarize yourself with application deadlines.

4. Reflect on your test experience: Take some time to think about how you felt during the test. Were there any sections or questions that you struggled with? If so, identify those areas and consider working on them in case you decide to retake the test.

5. Set realistic expectations: Remember that no one's outcome is defined solely by a test score. It's important to keep the bigger picture in mind, as colleges consider other factors besides test scores, like your extracurriculars, essays, and recommendation letters.

6. Talk to someone: Share your feelings with a trusted friend, family member, or counselor. They might help put things into perspective or share their own experiences.

Remember that everyone goes through this waiting period, so you're not alone! Stay positive and know that, no matter the outcome, you're taking the right steps towards your future.
