UF SAT Scores

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about applying to the University of Florida and I was wondering what SAT scores they typically accept. Can anyone give me some insight into their requirements or average scores?

Hi! The University of Florida (UF) is a competitive institution and SAT scores play a role in their admissions process. The middle 50% SAT range for admitted students is usually between 1350-1490. This means that 25% of admitted students score below 1350, while another 25% score above 1490. Generally, to be considered a competitive applicant, you'd want to have a score within (or above) this range.

Keep in mind that UF, like many universities, reviews applications holistically, so your SAT score is just one factor of many that they will consider in the admissions process. Your GPA, extracurricular activities, application essays, and other factors also play a significant role in how your application is evaluated.

It's important to focus on building a strong overall application that goes beyond just test scores. That being said, if your SAT score falls within the 1350-1490 range or higher, you should be in a good position in terms of meeting the average requirements for UF. Good luck with your application!
