What degree is the easiest to get?

Hi everyone, I've been a bit stressed about choosing a major for college since I'm not sure what I'd like to do in the future. I'm curious, what degree do you think is the easiest to obtain and why? (Not looking to slack off, just thinking about backup options in case things get overwhelming!)

It's important to remember that what is perceived as "easy" can be very subjective since different people have different strengths, interests, and learning styles. A major that may seem easy to one person might be challenging to another. Also, keep in mind that the level of difficulty for a degree often depends on the specific college or university, individual professors, and course requirements.

Instead of focusing on finding the "easiest" degree, consider your interests, aptitudes, and potential career paths while choosing a major. It's generally better to find something that genuinely interests you, as you will likely be more motivated to succeed in your major and classes.

However, if you are worried about your workload and want to explore possible options, some students find these degrees to be less demanding compared to others: Communication Studies, Liberal Arts, some Business-related majors (like Marketing or Management), or Social Sciences (like Sociology or Psychology). Again, this varies based on individual preferences and the specific institution.

Additionally, many colleges offer academic advising and support resources to help you make decisions about your major and give you the tools to manage your workload effectively. Don't hesitate to reach out to your academic advisor or counseling center if you're feeling overwhelmed or need guidance in choosing a major.

Ultimately, focus on finding a major that aligns with your strengths and interests rather than solely pursuing a degree perceived to be the "easiest." This will likely lead to a more enjoyable and fulfilling college experience.
