Looking for a list of Early Application Schools

Does anyone have a complete list of schools that offer Early Decision or Early Action programs? I'm trying to weigh my options and would love to know which schools I should consider for early applications. Thanks a lot!

While it's difficult to provide a complete list of schools that offer Early Decision (ED) or Early Action (EA) programs, I can give you a selection of notable colleges and universities, organized by their early application types:

Early Decision (binding):

1. Brown University

2. Columbia University

3. Cornell University

4. Dartmouth College

5. Duke University

6. Emory University

7. Johns Hopkins University

8. New York University

9. Northwestern University

10. University of Pennsylvania

11. Vanderbilt University

12. Washington University in St. Louis

Restricted Early Action/Single-Choice Early Action (non-binding, but limits other early applications):

1. Harvard University

2. Princeton University

3. Stanford University

4. University of Notre Dame

5. Yale University

Early Action (non-binding):

1. Caltech

2. Georgetown University

3. Georgia Tech

4. MIT

5. University of Chicago

6. University of Michigan

7. University of Virginia

Some colleges also offer a second round of early decision, known as Early Decision II (ED II), with a slightly later deadline. Not all schools that have ED offer ED II, so be sure to check each school's specific policy.

Please note that this list is not exhaustive, but it covers many well-known universities in the United States. Each college's early application policies and deadlines may change over time, so it is important to verify this information on their respective admissions websites. Additionally, keep in mind that applying early can provide certain advantages in the admissions process, but you should only apply Early Decision to a school if you are certain that it's your top choice and have researched the potential financial implications. Good luck!
