How do I find the National Merit Scholarship semifinalist list?

Hey guys! I've been trying to find the National Merit Scholarship semifinalist list for my state. Can anyone tell me where I can find it or when it's usually released? I'm really excited to see if I qualified!

Hey there! Congrats on your interest in the National Merit Scholarship program. To find the list of National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, you'll want to keep an eye on the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) website, as they typically release a press release containing the list around mid-September each year (the specific date may vary).

Once the list is released, you can also expect local newspapers and school websites to post the names of semifinalists from their respective areas. In some cases, your high school may directly notify you if you've qualified as a semifinalist. Moreover, you will receive a letter from NMSC if you've made it to the semifinalist round.

So, keep an eye on the NMSC website, local news sources, and your school's communication channels around mid-September. Best of luck, and I hope you make it to the semifinalist list!
