Ideal SAT Score for UGA?

Anybody know what SAT score range I should be aiming for to have a good shot at getting into the University of Georgia? I'd appreciate some advice so I can set realistic goals for myself.

The University of Georgia (UGA) is a moderately selective public university, and while SAT scores are not the sole factor in their admissions process, having a strong score can definitely improve your chances of getting in. To set a target, it's helpful to look at the middle 50% SAT score range for admitted students as it gives you an idea of what the majority of accepted students score.

For UGA, the middle 50% SAT score range for the 2024 incoming class was between 1370 and 1500. Scoring within this range means you'd be competitive with other applicants. To maximize your chances, you might want to aim for an SAT score at or above the upper end of this range (1500 or higher).

Keep in mind that UGA takes a holistic approach to admissions, meaning that they consider other aspects of your application beyond standardized test scores, such as your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, and essays. A strong SAT score will help your application, but it's also important to focus on the other pieces of the puzzle that contribute to presenting a well-rounded and compelling application.

Good luck with your SAT preparation and the rest of your college application process!
