Hello, I'm applying to the University of Georgia soon and I'm wondering if they require test scores like the SAT or ACT for their admissions process. Also, with the current pandemic, have their testing requirements changed at all?
Hello! As of now, the University of Georgia (UGA) requires SAT/ACT scores for First Year and Dual Enrollment applicants. Note that UGA superscores, meaning the University will look at all tests you submit and take the highest section scores.
According to their admissions site, it will not have any negative impact on your application if one of your tests doesn’t measure up to the standards you’ve set for yourself. UGA only uses the scores that put you in the best light and represent your best effort among all the times you’ve taken the SAT or ACT.
It's essential to keep an eye on UGA's website for updates on their testing policy, as it's subject to change based on future developments. Good luck with your application to UGA!
