Does University of Florida track demonstrated interest differently than UConn?

Since I'm applying to both UConn and University of Florida, I wanted to know - do they have different ways of tracking demonstrated interest during admissions? Would my approach for one impact the other?

Both the University of Florida and the University of Connecticut don't consider demonstrated interest as part of their application review.
