UGA ACT Requirement for Admissions?

What's the minimum ACT score needed for UGA? I know colleges often have a range they accept, but I'm trying to figure out what score would give me the best chance of getting in.

The University of Georgia (UGA) does not have a strict minimum ACT score requirement, but for the middle 50% of admitted students to UGA, ACT scores usually fall between 28-33. If you're aiming for the honors program at UGA, though, you'll want to set your sites quite a bit higher, as the middle 50% of ACT scores for students accepted to the honors program is 34-35.

To give yourself the best chance of getting into UGA, you should aim for a score at or above the 75th percentile mark (33 or higher). Or, if you're applying to the honors program, a 35 or 36 would maximize your chances.

However, don't forget that UGA, like many universities, employs a holistic admissions process, which means they consider many other factors in your application beyond test scores. These factors include your GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and essays. So, don't neglect these other elements in your pursuit of an excellent ACT score.

It's also important to remember that, while a high ACT score will improve your chances of acceptance, a lower score doesn't automatically rule you out, especially if the rest of your application is strong.
