University of Washington average GPA?

Hey guys, I was wondering what's the average GPA for students who get accepted to the University of Washington. I've heard it can be pretty competitive. Does a higher GPA help a lot in the admissions process or is it more holistic?

The University of Washington (UW) is indeed a competitive institution, and the average GPA of accepted students tends to be high - usually in the 3.8-3.85 range. Keep in mind, though, that this is just an average, and there will always be students admitted with GPAs above or below this range.

While a higher GPA is certainly helpful in the admissions process, UW, like many universities, does indeed use a holistic approach when evaluating applicants.
