Georgetown Early Action Acceptance Rate?

I'm applying to Georgetown and I'm considering applying through Early Action. Can anyone tell me how the acceptance rate for EA applicants differs from Regular Decision applicants? A little bit stressed about this, so any help would be amazing!

Applying Early Action can be a great strategy for demonstrating your interest in a college, like Georgetown. Although Georgetown does not release official statistics regarding the specific acceptance rates for Early Action vs. Regular Decision applicants, EA applicants typically experience a slightly higher acceptance rate compared to RD applicants. This holds true for many selective universities.

However, it's important to remember that applying Early Action generally attracts a more competitive applicant pool. These applicants are often very committed to Georgetown, and their applications tend to be of high quality. So, while the EA acceptance rate might be somewhat higher, the level of competition is also higher.

Make sure you submit a strong application by polishing your essays, asking for great letters of recommendation, and presenting a complete picture of your accomplishments. If you feel your application is ready by the EA deadline, it's advantageous to take advantage of this option. Not only may your chances of admission be a bit improved, but you'll also have the opportunity to receive a decision sooner, allowing you to plan for your college future earlier.

Best of luck with your application! You'll do great!
