University of Miami ED 2 availability?

Hi there, my top choice school is the University of Miami, and I was wondering if they offer an Early Decision 2 option for applicants? Just trying to plan my application strategy. Thanks!

Yes, the University of Miami does offer an Early Decision 2 (ED2) option for applicants. In addition to their Early Decision 1 (ED1), Early Action (EA), and Regular Decision (RD) plans, ED2 can be a great option if you're sure that the University of Miami is your top choice and you need more time to prepare your application materials than the ED1 deadline allows.

The deadline for ED2 typically falls in early January, while the ED1 and EA deadlines are usually in early November. Keep in mind, ED2 is a binding decision, which means that if you're accepted, you're committed to attending the University of Miami and must withdraw applications to other schools. So only choose ED2 if you are absolutely certain UMiami is your top choice.

Good luck with your application strategy, and I hope this information helps!
