Is Physics considered the hardest major?

I have a passion for physics, and I'm considering majoring in it when I go to college. However, I've heard people saying that it's the hardest major out there. Is it true? Should I be prepared for a very challenging course load if I choose to major in physics?

While difficulty is subjective, physics is often considered one of the harder majors due to the advanced mathematics and abstract concepts involved. Physics majors typically take courses in advanced calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and quantum mechanics, among others, which can be quite challenging for some students.
