Hello! I'm considering applying to Boston College next year and I'm curious about their Greek life. Does Boston College have fraternities or any other type of social clubs? How's the social scene aside from Greek life? Thanks in advance for your responses!
Hello! Boston College does not have any fraternities or sororities. In lieu of traditional Greek life, Boston College has a myriad of clubs and activities for students to engage in based on their various interests, which ranges from academic, cultural, social, and service-oriented organizations. Some examples include the Ski & Snowboard Club, Campus Activities Board, and the Appalachia Volunteers Service Club.
Though the campus may lack Greek life, the social scene is still quite active. There are many opportunities to form connections through clubs, intramural and club sports, residence halls, and various campus events. Boston College also holds social events, service trips, and retreats which promote bonding and a sense of community among students. Additionally, the city of Boston is nearby, providing countless opportunities for socialization, entertainment, and cultural experiences.
