Hey everyone, I'm going to be taking the PSAT soon and I'm already feeling eager about getting my scores. Can anyone tell me what time does College Board typically release PSAT scores? I just want to be prepared in advance so I can check as soon as they're up!
Hey! I understand the anticipation of waiting for your PSAT scores - even before you've taken the test! Unfortunately, the College Board typically doesn't announce any specific time when scores will be released. Additionally, scores might not all be available at the same time.
I'd suggest checking first thing in the morning, around 8 am EST. If your scores aren't available yet, I'd check back periodically throughout the day. And keep an eye on your College Board account or the email associated with it for any updates or notifications, including in the weeks leading up to the score release date, as they might provide more concrete information closer to the big day.
Do also be aware that scores aren't all released on the same day. The release dates are determined by logistics - namely where you took the test and when the College Board received your answers for scoring - not your performance. So, if you have friends who have already gotten their results and you haven't, don't panic!
Finally, if you'd like more information on how to understand your scores and what to do with them once you have them, I'd check out this blog post from CollegeVine: https://blog.collegevine.com/how-to-understand-and-use-your-psat-results/
Good luck with your PSAT!
