What's the RISE acceptance rate?

Hi everyone! I'm considering applying for the Rutgers RISE (Research Intensive Summer Experience) program. I'd like to know what the acceptance rate for this program is and if any current or past participants can share their experiences. Grateful for any info!

Hey there! While the RISE program doesn't publish an official acceptance rate, it's worth noting that the program is fairly selective. As with any competitive summer program, what they're generally looking for are students who demonstrate a strong interest in research and the potential to excel in their chosen field.

In terms of experiences, many past participants have found the RISE program to be extremely rewarding. Those who've taken part in the program often praise the hands-on research experience, the opportunity to work closely with faculty and graduate students, and the chance to create connections with like-minded peers. Additionally, participants also benefit from attending workshops and seminars that can help further develop their research skills and career aspirations.

When applying, make sure to showcase your passion for research and your commitment to exploring your field of interest. Highlight any relevant coursework or previous research experiences that demonstrate your capability and dedication. Securing a strong letter of recommendation from a mentor or teacher in the related subject area can also bolster your application.

Best of luck with your application, and I hope you find the RISE program to be an enriching experience!
