Hello! I'm really interested in applying to UC Berkeley, and I was wondering if they have an Early Action option? I tried looking up some info but couldn't really find a clear answer. If anyone knows, please let me know! Thanks!
UC Berkeley, along with the rest of the University of California (UC) system, does not offer Early Action or Early Decision application options. Instead, they have a single application deadline for all applicants. For the upcoming application cycle, the UC application typically opens on August 1st, and the submission period is October 1st through November 30th for freshman applicants. All students applying within this window will receive their admissions decisions around the same time in the spring, usually around late March.
It's important to note that although Berkeley doesn't offer early application options, they do have a few special programs with varying deadlines, such as the Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology (MET) program and the Global Management Program (GMP), which may require supplemental materials and have separate deadlines. If you're interested in any of these programs, be sure to research their specific requirements and deadlines.
Make sure to submit your completed UC application, including the personal insight questions, by November 30th and good luck with the application process!
