EA Rejection & Regular Admissions

Hi guys! Just a general question: if I get rejected by a college during the Early Action admissions, is it possible for me to apply again for Regular Decision, or is it a one-shot deal? Has anyone here experienced this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! Unfortunately, if you are rejected during the Early Action (EA) process, you cannot reapply to that same college during the Regular Decision (RD) cycle in the same academic year. The EA rejection serves as a final decision for that application cycle. You would have to wait until the next application cycle in the following year if you still wish to apply to that college.

It's worth mentioning that if you were deferred during the EA process, your application would automatically be considered during the RD cycle. Being deferred means that the college needs more time to review your application and compare it with the RD applicant pool. In that situation, you don't need to reapply or submit a new application, but it's a good idea to update the college on any significant changes or accomplishments since your EA application submission.

Best of luck with your college applications, and I hope this information helps!
