Hello everybody, I've been looking at Shorter University as one of my potential college choices and I was wondering if it's a Division 1 school for athletics. Can anybody help me out with this information?
Shorter University is not a Division I school for athletics. It is a part of NCAA Division II, and competes in the Gulf South Conference (GSC). At the DII level, the athletic competition is still highly competitive, but the focus on academics and personal growth for student-athletes is often more emphasized than in Division I programs. This can sometimes be an advantage for those who want a more balanced college experience between academics and sports. Good luck with your college search!
