Ivy Day ED Decision Date?

Hey everyone! I'm a junior already starting to think about early decision for next year. When is Ivy Day for ED applicants usually? I just want to mentally prepare myself for the waiting game. Thanks in advance!

Hello! It's smart to be prepared for the college application process early. Ivy Day is actually a term generally used to describe the day when all Ivy League schools release their Regular Decision notifications in late March. However, since you're inquiring about Early Decision (ED) decisions, I understand what you're looking for.

ED decisions for Ivy League schools are usually released around mid-December. Although the specific date can vary slightly from year to year and among the Ivy League schools, you can generally expect your ED decision to come out within the first two weeks of December. Keep in mind that if a school offers Single Choice Early Action or Restrictive Early Action (e.g., Yale, Harvard), the decision release date for that program will also be around the same timeframe.

Best of luck as you begin preparing for your college applications! Remember, ED is a binding commitment, so make sure the school you choose for an ED application is truly your top choice and that you've used their net price calculator to ensure the financial aid aligns with your family's needs.
