UC Irvine online courses?

Hey everybody! So, I've been looking into UC Irvine and I'm wondering if they offer any online courses or programs that I could take while being in high school? It would be really cool to get a head start on my college education, and I'd appreciate any input you guys have. Thanks!

Hey there! UC Irvine does offer some online courses and programs, but the availability for high school students might be limited. One option for high school students seeking to take college-level courses at UC Irvine is the Concurrent Enrollment program through UCI Division of Continuing Education (DCE). While the Concurrent Enrollment program is primarily on-campus, they do also offer online options.

However, keep in mind that these online options might have some prerequisites and could be subject to limited space availability. Additionally, you'll need to obtain approval from your high school counselor and the course instructor. Before enrolling in a particular course, make sure to review the requirements and consult with your counselor to ensure it aligns with your academic goals.

Another alternative you could consider is taking online courses on platforms like Coursera, edX, or FutureLearn, which have offerings from top universities, including many UC schools. While the courses might not be directly affiliated with UC Irvine, they can still provide you an opportunity to explore various topics and gain valuable skills for college and beyond.

Best of luck in your academic journey!
