Best universities in New Jersey for international students?

I'm an international student looking into universities in New Jersey for my undergraduate studies. Can anyone recommend some universities in NJ that have good resources and support for international students as well as a solid reputation academically? Thanks for your help!

Although there are several universities in New Jersey that might be suitable for you as an international student, I'll provide you with the top choices that have a reputation for strong academics as well as good resources for international students:

1. Princeton University: As one of the Ivy League institutions, Princeton has an excellent reputation academically and offers a diverse range of subjects to study. They have a dedicated Davis International Center that helps international students adjust to life in the U.S., and it provides support with visa, cultural, and academic-related issues.

2. Rutgers University: Rutgers is the state university of New Jersey and has a strong reputation. It has multiple campuses, but New Brunswick is the largest and most well-known. They offer a wide range of undergraduate programs to choose from. The Center for Global Services at the Rutgers Global office offers extensive services to international students, including orientation, cultural programs, and immigration assistance.

3. Stevens Institute of Technology: If you're interested in STEM subjects, Stevens is an excellent choice since it's primarily a tech-focused university. The International Student and Scholar Services office provides a range of services, including visa assistance and support with orientation and getting settled in the campus community.

4. The College of New Jersey (TCNJ): TCNJ is highly regarded for its undergraduate programs, tight-knit community, and beautiful campus. Their Center for Global Engagement offers pre-arrival information, workshops, orientation, and ongoing support for international students.

When researching universities, make sure to look into the availability of scholarships for international students, and to gauge the overall environment and culture of the campus community. Visit the universities' websites, explore their international student support services, and reach out to current international students- if possible, to get a sense of what life would be like as an international student at these institutions. Best of luck in your college search!
