Embry Riddle Aerospace Engineering Ranking

Hey everyone, I've heard a lot about Embry Riddle and how it's a great school for aerospace engineering, but I'm not sure about its actual ranking. Can anyone tell me where it's ranked for aerospace engineering? Also, what kind of job opportunities can we expect after graduating from their program? Thanks!

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is well-regarded for its aerospace engineering programs. However, as rankings tend to vary depending on the methodology used by different organizations, it's important to take them with a grain of salt. With that in mind, U.S. News and World Report ranks Embry-Riddle's undergraduate aerospace engineering program at #1 for schools where the highest degree offered is a bachelor's or master's, and it has consistently been at or near the top in this category. It's important to note that this is different from the rankings for doctoral-granting institutions.

Regarding job opportunities, Embry-Riddle graduates often have strong options in the aerospace industry. The university has a strong emphasis on hands-on learning experiences and boasts strong connections with industry partners - you can learn more about those partnerships here: https://erau.edu/partnerships. Graduates of Embry-Riddle's aerospace engineering program are well-prepared for careers in areas such as aircraft/spacecraft design, propulsion systems, avionics and control systems, and materials science, among others. Major aerospace and defense companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman often recruit from Embry-Riddle.

The school also offers career services and resources like job fairs, workshops, internships, and co-ops to help students secure job placements or further their education in graduate studies.

Overall, Embry-Riddle is a great choice if you're interested in aerospace engineering, but it's always wise to consider other factors like location, campus life, and financial aid when making your decision.
