Hi! Great question. Bradley University is located in Peoria, Illinois, a midsize city situated along the Illinois River. The university's campus is adjacent to the historic West Bluff neighborhood that has an assortment of beautiful historic homes. Peoria has a variety of things to do, both culturally and recreationally, that can make your off-campus experience enjoyable.

Downtown Peoria is just a short drive from the university and offers a diverse array of restaurants, bars, and shops. Additionally, Peoria's RiverFront district hosts various events throughout the year, including music concerts, festivals, and farmer's markets, giving you plenty of opportunities to explore the local culture and have fun with friends.

Peoria is also home to several parks and recreational areas. One popular spot is the Peoria Riverfront Museum, which features a planetarium, a sculpture garden, and several art and history galleries. Another worthwhile attraction is the Luthy Botanical Garden, where you can stroll through beautiful plant displays and enjoy seasonal events.
