Top D1 tennis colleges?

Hi everyone, I'm a high school junior and I'm very passionate about tennis. I'm seriously considering playing in college, so I'm starting to look into Division I tennis schools. Could anyone please suggest some top programs? Thanks!

Hi! It's great that you're interested in playing Division I tennis in college. There are quite a few schools with strong D1 tennis programs, so here are a few to consider. Keep in mind that the strength of the tennis program can sometimes change year-to-year, but these schools generally have solid tennis teams and histories of success.

Men's Tennis Programs:

1. University of Virginia

2. University of Southern California (USC)

3. University of Florida

4. Wake Forest University

5. Baylor University

Women's Tennis Programs:

1. Stanford University

2. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC)

3. Duke University

4. University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

5. University of Georgia

These are just a few examples, but there are many more excellent men's and women's programs out there. Keep in mind that it's also important to consider the academic programs and overall campus environment when choosing a school. Additionally, I'd recommend reaching out to the coaches at these schools to express your interest and learn more about their recruitment process.

Make sure to keep working on your tennis skills, as well as maintaining a strong academic record to increase your chances of being successfully recruited by these top programs. Good luck!
