APUSH exam multiple-choice questions

I'm taking APUSH this year and want to be prepared for the exam. How many multiple-choice questions are on the APUSH exam? Also, how long do I have to complete this part of the test?

The APUSH (AP US History) exam consists of two main sections: Section 1 and Section 2. Section 1 is the multiple-choice and short-answer section. In Part A of this section, you will encounter 55 multiple-choice questions that you need to complete in 55 minutes. So, you will have approximately 1 minute per question. The multiple-choice questions in this section count for 40% of your total exam score.

As you prepare for the APUSH exam, it's essential to practice time management and get familiar with the question format. The questions are often stimulus-based, which means they will relate to a provided document, image, or passage, which you'll want to be able to analyze quickly. Developing a solid study plan that includes reviewing key historical themes and practice questions will best equip you for success on exam day, so that you can quickly recall the information you need to answer the question. Good luck!
