Cal State Los Angeles Application

Does anyone know the requirements for the Cal State LA application? Do they need recommendation letters, essays, or anything else? Just trying to make sure I prepare all the necessary materials before I start the application process!

Cal State LA, like other Cal State schools, uses the CSU application system. Here's a rundown of the requirements for your application:

1. Online Application: You will need to complete the online application and pay the application fee. The application can be accessed through the California State University Application Portal (Cal State Apply).

2. Transcripts: You will need to provide official transcripts from all high schools attended. If you have taken college courses or dual enrollment classes, include transcripts from those institutions as well. Unofficial transcripts can be used for application review, but official transcripts will be required if admitted.

3. Standardized Test Scores: Cal State LA and all other Cal State schools are currently test-blind, which means they do not consider SAT or ACT scores for admission in any way. Therefore, you do not need to submit your standardized test scores.

4. A-G Requirements: The application will ask you to provide information about fulfilling the A-G coursework requirements, which are the minimal academic subject requirements that California students must complete for admission into the Cal State University system.
