How do I choose a college major that's right for me?

Hi guys! I'm a junior and I'm having a hard time deciding on a college major. I have a few interests, but I'm not sure which one to pursue. How did you guys decide on your majors and do you have any advice for me? Thanks so much!

Hey there! Deciding on a college major can definitely be a challenge, but it's great that you're thinking about it early. It's important to remember that many students change their majors during college, so don't put too much pressure on yourself to have everything figured out right away. One of the things my child did when they were in your position was to make a list of their interests and strengths, then research potential majors that aligned with those. You could also consider talking to your school counselor, teachers, or friends who share your interests to get their input on what they think might be a good fit for you. Another helpful thing is to visit college websites and look at the available majors and courses offered in each department. This can give you a better idea of what you might enjoy studying and what career paths those majors can lead to. Finally, if you have the chance, try to attend college fairs or even schedule campus visits to get a feel for the atmosphere and academic offerings at different schools. Remember that your major doesn't necessarily define your entire career, so be open to exploring different areas of study and consider double majoring or minoring as well. Best of luck on your journey!
