ETBU Athletic Training Program - Any insights?

Hey y'all! I'm considering East Texas Baptist University for their Athletic Training program. If anyone here has gone through that program or is familiar with it, could you share your experience? How are the courses, facilities, and staff?

Hello! I'm not in the ETBU Athletic Training program myself, but I've heard from students who went through it and had positive experiences. They mentioned that the program is comprehensive and offers a good mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. The professors are knowledgeable and dedicated to helping students succeed in the field of athletic training. In addition, students expressed satisfaction with the facilities, which are modern and well-maintained.

One aspect that students often appreciated was the close-knit community within the program. Due to its small class sizes, students formed strong bonds with their peers and professors, which leads to a supportive learning environment, with ample opportunities for individual attention and personalized feedback.

As for the courses, students found them to be challenging but manageable. The curriculum is designed to equip future athletic trainers with a solid foundation in the field - some key areas covered include injury prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, and therapeutic modalities. Students also have opportunities to gain real-world experience through clinical rotations and volunteer work at various sporting events.

Overall, it appears that the ETBU Athletic Training program is well-regarded and provides a strong education for those looking to pursue a career in athletic training. Of course, it's always a good idea to do your own research and potentially reach out to current students or alumni directly to get a better sense of whether the program is right for you.

Good luck with your decision-making process!
