How much are the fees for the SAT?

I'll be taking the SAT next year, and I'm trying to figure out how much it'll cost. Can anyone tell me the current fees for the SAT, including any additional fees for sending scores to colleges?

The fees for the SAT can vary based on what services you require. As of now, the basic registration fee for the SAT is $60.

When it comes to sending your scores to colleges, you are allowed to send your scores to up to four colleges for free if you select them while registering for the exam. However, if you wish to send your scores to additional schools after the test, the current fee is $14 per recipient.

There may be other additional fees depending on your circumstances, such as:

1. Change fee: If you need to change your test center, test date, or switch between the SAT and SAT Subject Tests, the fee is $25.

2. Late registration fee: If you register after the deadline, there's a $30 late fee.

3. Cancel fee: There's a $25 fee for canceling your registration.

Keep in mind that if you qualify for a fee waiver, you may be eligible for a reduction in costs or even have some of these fees waived entirely. Fee waivers can be obtained through your school counselor if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Finally, be aware that these fees may change over time, so it's always a good idea to visit the official College Board website for the most up-to-date information on SAT fees.
