UConn SAT requirements

Hey, does anyone know if UConn requires SAT scores for admission? I've been looking into applying there and want to make sure I've got everything I need for my application.

UConn (University of Connecticut) has adopted a test-optional policy for freshmen applicants for the Fall 2024, Fall 2025, and Fall 2026 application cycles. This means that submitting SAT or ACT scores is not required for your application, and you can choose whether to send them in or not. If you believe your SAT scores will strengthen your application, you can submit them. However, if you feel that your scores may not accurately or positively represent your academic abilities, you can leave them out, and the admissions committee will review your application based on other factors, such as your GPA, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation.

Keep in mind that some specific programs or scholarships at UConn might still require test scores, so make sure to double-check the requirements for the particular program or scholarship you're interested in. In any case, it's essential to present a strong application that reflects your academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and personal qualities to make a compelling case for your admission.
