Does Indiana University require SAT scores?

Hello! Indiana University (IU) Bloomington is currently test-optional, which means you have the option to submit your SAT scores, but they are not required. If you choose to submit your scores, there is no minimum score requirement. However, to be competitive, it's good to aim for scores that are within the range typically accepted by Indiana University in previous years.

For reference, the middle 50% SAT range for IU Bloomington in recent years was between 1210–1420. This statistic means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1210, and 25% scored above 1420. While there is no specific score threshold you should aim for, aiming for a score within or above this range will make your application more competitive.
