Typical SAT Score for Texas A&M?

Hi everyone, I'm starting to look at colleges and Texas A&M is on my list. Can anyone tell me what the average SAT score is for students admitted to Texas A&M? I want to gauge my chances. Thanks in advance!

Hi there! It's great that you're considering Texas A&M. For the Fall 2022 freshman class, the middle 50% of admitted students scored between 1160 and 1390 on the SAT. This means that 25% of admitted students scored below 1160 and 25% scored above 1390. To be competitive, you'd ideally want to aim for the higher end of this range. However, keep in mind that test scores are just one component of the application, and the admissions process takes into account additional factors such as GPA, course rigor, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation.

Make sure your overall application demonstrates a strong academic background, leadership experience, and meaningful extracurricular involvement. This holistic approach will increase your chances of admission. Good luck with your college search!
