Hey all, I'm seriously considering applying to UC San Diego. Do any of you know the average SAT scores for admitted students? I want to make sure I'm on the right track and see how competitive my scores are.
Hey! UC San Diego is a great school, and I understand why you're interested in applying. As of the 2021-2022 admissions cycle, UC San Diego and all other UC schools have adopted a test-blind admissions policy. This means they no longer consider SAT or ACT scores in their admissions decisions at all, regardless of whether you submit them.
Because of this new policy, it's essential to focus on other aspects of your application, such as your GPA, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation. Make sure to present a strong and well-rounded application that showcases your unique skills, interests, and accomplishments.
Best of luck with the application process!
