Piedmont International University Basketball

I'm thinking about attending Piedmont International University, and I'm really into basketball. Does anyone know how their basketball program is? Are the coaches and team highly competitive? Thanks for your help!

Piedmont International University is an NAIA school, which means its athletic programs, including basketball, are at a smaller scale compared to NCAA Division I, II, or III schools. While I can't speak to the specific coaching staff and team atmosphere, I can provide some information regarding their basketball program.

The Piedmont International University men's basketball team, known as the Bruins, competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). The women's basketball team also competes in the AAC. Although an NAIA school may not have the same athletic reputation as larger NCAA programs, many NAIA schools still have a strong sense of competition and camaraderie within their teams. In recent years, the Bruins have shown improvement and competitiveness within their conference.

To get an idea of the coaching staff and team culture, I'd recommend reaching out to current players or the coaching staff themselves. You can visit the Piedmont International University Athletics website to find contact information for the coaches. It's also a good idea to attend a game or visit the campus to meet the team in person if possible. This will help give you a better understanding of team dynamics, expectations, and competitiveness.

Remember that attending a school with a smaller athletic program can provide unique benefits, including more opportunities for playing time and a tightly-knit team environment. While it may not have the same resources as a larger NCAA program, an NAIA school like Piedmont International can be a great fit for student-athletes, depending on your priorities and goals.
