Late AP Testing: What's the Policy?

Due to some unexpected circumstances, I wasn't able to take one of my AP exams during the regular testing period. Does anyone know what the policy is for late AP testing? Can I still take the test? Please let me know if you have any info or have been through a similar situation!

If you missed the regular AP testing period due to unforeseen circumstances, you may still have the opportunity to take the test during the late testing period. The College Board designates a specific Late-Testing period each year, which usually occurs within two weeks after the regular testing period.

Late testing is intended for students who were unable to take their AP exams due to extenuating circumstances such as illness, family emergencies, or school-wide events. In order to take advantage of late testing, you should reach out to your school's AP coordinator as soon as possible to discuss your situation. They can provide you with the necessary information regarding the late testing schedule and procedures.

Keep in mind that not all AP exams are available during the late testing period, and there may also be a different form of the exam administered. Additionally, there is a fee for late testing, which is added to the standard AP exam fee. This late testing fee may be waived under certain circumstances, so it's crucial to have a conversation with your AP coordinator to determine the specifics of your case.
