Hey everyone, I'm trying to get an idea of the SAT's format. Can anyone tell me the total number of math questions on the SAT? And is there a time limit for each section?

Sure, the SAT Math section is divided into two parts: the Math Test - Calculator and the Math Test - No Calculator. In total, there are 58 math questions on the SAT. Here's a breakdown of each section:

1. Math Test - No Calculator: This section has 20 questions (15 multiple-choice and 5 grid-in) with a time limit of 25 minutes.

2. Math Test - Calculator: This section contains 38 questions (30 multiple-choice and 8 grid-in) with a time limit of 55 minutes.

So you have 80 minutes in total to complete both sections of the SAT Math, with a few minutes of break in between. Make sure to practice time management as you prepare for the test to ensure you can complete all the questions within the given time limits. Good luck!
